Christian Video | Chronicles of Religious Persecution in China | "To the Brink and Back"

The Church of Almighty God | Christian Video | Chronicles of Religious Persecution in China | "To the Brink and Back"
Since it came to power in mainland China in 1949, the Chinese Communist Party has been relentless in its persecution of religious faith.

It has frantically arrested and murdered Christians, expelled and abused missionaries operating in China, confiscated and destroyed countless copies of the Bible, sealed up and demolished church buildings, and vainly attempted to eradicate all house churches.
This documentary is a recounting of the true experience of persecution at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party suffered by Chen Wenzhong, a Chinese Christian. Chen Wenzhong was successful in his career and had a beautiful and happy family, but because he believed in God and performed his duty, he became wanted by the CCP. He was forced to leave home and was on the run for over ten years. In order to learn of his whereabouts, the CCP police constantly monitored, threatened, and intimidated his family, and wouldn't even spare his young son, Xiaoyu. In the end, they forced Xiaoyu onto the path of no return.

The Bible says: “… the whole world lies in wickedness” (1Jn 5:19). The Lord Jesus also said, this is an evil generation (Luk 11: 29). Then just what is the extent of this world’s darkness and evil? In the Age of Grace, for the sake of redeeming mankind, the Lord Jesus in the flesh was crucified by the religious circles and rulers of the time. In the last days, Almighty God expressing truths and judging mankind has also been met with the condemnation and resistance of religious circles and the CCP government, and rejected by this era. This fulfills the Lord Jesus’ words: “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luk 17:24-25).
