What Should We Do Now to Be Raptured at the Lord’s Return?

Question:  After the fellowship, I know that our understanding of  rapture  by the Lord is from man's imagination. It's seriously against the word of the Lord. So what should we do now to be raptured at His return? Would you commune with us in detail ?

Answer:  The saints expect to be raptured according to the Lord's words, “ I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am , there you may be also ” (John 14:2-3). Man uses their imaginations and notions to understand the Lord's words.

Are the Words ‘Being Raptured in the Clouds to Meet the Lord in the Air’ Right?

Question: The Bible says, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1Ts 4:17). How should we interpret that?

Answer: We should hope for the Lord’s return based on the prophecies that He Himself spoke. That is the most standard way of waiting for the Lord’s return. Who are you quoting, really? Are you quoting the Lord’s words or the words of men? “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air,” who said that? Are those the Lord Jesus’ words? The Lord Jesus never said anything like that. The Holy Spirit never said that, either. The words you believe in and quote are Paul’s words. Do Paul’s words represent the Lord Jesus’ words? Can he represent God? Only God knows the answer to this mystery. If we corrupt humans dare to make blind interpretations and judgments like this, we are committing a heinous sin.

Is God’s Kingdom on Earth or in Heaven?

Question:  It's impossible for us to say whether God's kingdom is on earth or in heaven. The  Lord Jesus  said several times, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand” and “Your kingdom come.” Since He clearly says, “the kingdom of heaven,” how can it be on earth?

Answer : We should keep in mind that “heaven” always refers to God. The kingdom of heaven means God's kingdom. Revelation says, “ the tabernacle of God is with me n. ” “ The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ. ” It shows us that God's kingdom is on earth. The kingdoms of this world will become those of God. After the disasters, the old world will be destroyed and the Millennial Kingdom will appear. And this world shall become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ. And then God's will shall be done on earth just as it is in heaven. This fulfills the prophecy that new Jerusalem will come down to earth then.

Will the Lord Jesus take believers up into the kingdom of heaven when He comes again?

One may ask: The Bible says, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). How should this verse be interpreted? How will the verse concerning believers being raptured in the last days be fulfilled?

For every Christian who is waiting devoutly for the return of the Lord, the topic of the believers’ rapture when the Lord returns in the last days is always attractive. None of believers are not expecting to be raptured into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord comes back. However, what on earth is the true meaning of rapture? Does it really mean that the believers are lifted into the air by the Lord in the last days? To understand this aspect of the truth, let’s first read several verses. Acts 8:39-40 says, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.” According to man’s thought, since here it is said that Philip was caught away by the Spirit of the Lord, he was taken to heaven. Yet, in fact, “Philip was found at Azotus” and he preached the gospel in all cities, carrying out the Lord’s will on earth. From this we can see that Philip was not taken into heaven but was still on the earth.

Q&A About God’s Work of Judgment in the Last Days-Question 1

Question 1: You say that God becomes flesh in the last days to do the work of judgment. Does this have basis inthe Bible, or fulfill biblical prophecies? Without a biblical basis, we shouldn’t be so quick to believe it.

Answer: Any major incidents of God’s work are prophesied in the Bible, and there are quite a few relating to the second coming of the Lord Jesus and God’s work of judgment. But we should understand that prophecies only tell people what will happen. They are reminders for people to be alert and to seek and investigate in the last days, so they won’t be abandoned or eliminated by God. That’s all the prophecies can do. The prophecies themselves can’t help us to know God’s work, nor understand the truth, or help people obey God, or increase people’s love for God. So, our best course is to directly investigate the words expressed by Almighty God and the work done by Him, from which we can be sure whether they are truly God’s voice and expression. That is the most important course of action. This is much more realistic and useful than searching for a basis in biblical prophecies. We all know that when the Lord Jesus came to do work, the disciples and believers who followed Him only recognized Him gradually, that the Lord was Christ, the Messiah prophesied through His work and words. The priests, scribes, and Pharisees who knew religious laws and studied the Bible knew that the Lord Jesus’ word is the truth and has authority and power. But because they hated the truth, they not only refused to follow the Lord Jesus, but also used the letters and regulations in the Bible to oppose and condemn the Lord Jesus, and finally nailed Him to the cross. This shows us the Bible can’t lead or guide us to accept the return of the Lord. For those who wait for the Lord’s return, the Bible only serves as corroboration. The clever virgin doesn’t welcome her groom using the Bible. When she hears her groom’s voice, she ascertains it is God’s voice and goes to meet her Lord. Those who rely on biblical prophecy rather than seeking God’s voice, and who reject and condemn Almighty God’s work in the last days—they are the most foolish virgins, those whom God will abandon and eliminate.

Let’s read a passage of Almighty God’s words, “Can you be such that you accept without question all the work of the Holy Spirit? If it is the work of the Holy Spirit, then it is the right ‘stream.’ You should accept it without the slightest misgivings, rather than picking and choosing what to accept. If you gain some knowledge from God and exercise some caution against Him, is this not an act truly uncalled for? What you ought to do is acceptance of, without the need for further substantiation from the Bible, any work so long as it is that of the Holy Spirit, for you believe in God to follow God, not to investigate Him. You should not search out further proof for Me to show that I am your God. Rather, you ought to discern whether I am of benefit to you; that is the key. Even if you have found out much irrefutable proof within the Bible, it cannot bring you fully before Me. You are one who lives within the confines of the Bible, and not before Me; the Bible cannot help you know Me, nor can it deepen your love for Me” (“How Can Man Who Has Defined God in His Conceptions Receive the Revelations of God?” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). To discern whether Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus, we cannot rely solely on the evidence in the Bible. Most important is whether the words expressed by Almighty God are the truth, whether what Almighty God expresses is God’s disposition and what He has and is, whether Almighty God’s words are the truth, the way, and the life necessary to man, whether they relieve people’s confusion about belief in God, whether they save people from their corrupt satanic dispositions and satanic natures, and whether they can save people from Satan’s influence, allowing people to achieve purity and enter the kingdom of heaven. The Bible only prophesies  God's work  in  the last days , but doesn't record the details , because in the last days God does the work of judgment, which is a new work outside the Bible. What Is the True Meaning of Doing the Will of the Heavenly Father?

Question: We can set aside all things to spread the gospel and shepherd the church. Such toil and labor is doing the will of our heavenly Father. Is there any wrong in the way we carry this out?

Answer: We can spread the Lord’s gospel and toil and labor, but this does not mean we’re doing the will of our heavenly Father. Truly doing the heavenly Father’s will is following His words and commandments, and doing our duty according to His requirements. Just like what the Lord Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). Doing the heavenly Father’s will means following and practicing what the Lord Jesus currently says. What is faith? Under comfortable environments, with our works going well and family lives being peaceful, many of us will have the faith to follow the Lord, actively reading the Bible and attending meetings; however, once something unpleasant happens, we will become weak immediately. For example, when we are facing living difficulties because of losing our jobs, when our families lose peace due to something against our wishes happening, or when we are always refused a new job in spite of our praying, we begin losing our faith in God. Then, in consideration of all these things, what is real faith exactly?

One day, Brother Chen in the church came to me. He said he wanted to practice spreading the gospel in his spare time and offer some of his strength to the gospel work. Due to my past interactions with Brother Chen, I knew that he had a very arrogant disposition. I had some prejudices and biases against him. If you do not have genuine talent, do you think that you can fulfill this duty well? You think too highly of yourself. You simply do not have an accurate evaluation of yourself!” Afterward, I talked about Brother Chen’s situation with a few other brothers and sisters so that they had discernment of him. Some of the brothers and sisters, after hearing what I had to say, also said how Brother Chen had manifested some arrogance in his behaviors. This confirmed for me that the opinions I had of Brother Chen were indeed accurate. I was never aware that because I did not seek the truth and clearly see Brother Chen’s condition, I was blindly making comment on him. I was basically judging him and colluding with others.
